What are your opening hours?

We’re officially open:

Weds: 12.30-4 (click + collect orders plus limited items on the door)
Thurs: 12.30-4 (click + collect orders plus limited items on the door)
Fri: 12.30-5 (click + collect orders plus limited items on the door)
Sat: 11-3 or til sell out. Saturday is WALK-UPS for our big bakery menu and then pizza at 1pm. It’s first come first served

Tuesdays we spend at the market buying our produce for the week, prepping and planning so you may see the lights on and our deliveries arriving.

Why are your numbers limited?

If you’ve been to the shop, you will have seen how tiny it is!
We hand mix and bake as much as we possibly can, fresh every morning at Anerley Road. Even though numbers are limited, we do bake a lot considering the size of our shop. Our ovens are at max capacity from morning ‘til we open! We have:

-1 fridge
- 2 small ovens
- And a very tiny team!

And yes, we do hope to scale up to accommodate in the very near future!

How do I get my hands on a sandwich?

We release 160 sandwiches every Monday at 12.30pm. You can pre-order yours here and collect on a Weds, Thurs or Fri. We make and bake everything to order onsite at Anerley Road (hence the limited numbers).

Do you sell sandwiches on Saturdays?

No, only Weds-Fri. Our lunch offering at the weekend is pizza - grandma style - from 1pm.

Do you have to pre-order during the week?

If it’s sandwiches you’re after, then yes!

But, we always have a limited menu on the door Weds-Fri for walk ups, incase you haven’t pre-ordered something. You can grab slabs of focaccia, cereal cookies, brownies and tin loaves so please do swing by and see us Weds-Fri even if you haven’t ordered! We advise getting there at 12.15 just before we open.

What the hell is that long queue for on a Saturday?

Saturday is our big bake day, NO PRE-ORDERS (!) and it’s first come first served for everything out the oven from 11am.

Our shelves are stocked with fresh-out-the-oven sourdough, flavoured focaccia slabs, tin loaves, galettes, pies, tarts, cheesecake, brownies and cereal cookies.

THEN, we sling pizza slices - grandma style- from 1pm and (sometimes) have a lil’ off menu special! Again, first come first served!

What time should I come down on Saturday?

We advise arriving at 10.30am for the bakery menu (breads, galette and the rest of the sweet stuff!). We tend to sell out of focaccia and sourdough by 12pm. We advise arriving at 12.30pm for pizza. We always keep a selection of sweets items for the lunch crowd too!

There are usually 3 of us FOH to greet you, so we get through the queue as quickly as we can as well as give out freebies while you you wait in the Q.

How do we know what’s on the menu?

We change our menu weekly and work with what’s in season, keep an eye on our Weekly Menu page for information on the sandwiches. We’re very active on Instagram and on email.
